Label Text:The haphazard and unfinished appearance of Marc Jacobs' contemporary evening dress conveys youthful innocence. Jacobs applies his eccentric nature to reinvent what would otherwise be a prim concoction of tulle and fuchsia organza, but instead becomes a dress that bespeaks elegance - even despite unruly layers of irregularly tiered, pinked ruffles that form the bodice and A-line skirt. Alluding to past convention, multiple fabric circles and tulle streamers comprise a shoulder strap reminiscent of a corsage. Overall, this playful party dress is decidedly, affirming the effortlessly chic style for which Marc Jacobs is known.
