Label Text:This faux lamb fur coat offered a chic alternative to coats made from traditional furs, which were quite rare and expensive during the German Occupation of Paris. Its dense wool pile is probably as warm as the fur it imitates, and precedes the more common use of simulated fur by nearly thirty years.
