Label Text:Clothing styles of the 1960s were more abbreviated than those of the previous decade. A trim, youthful figure was the ideal, but this shape was often achieved through diet and exercise rather than rigid corsetry. Less structured bras allowed the breasts to take a more natural shape, while smoothing panty girdles were worn beneath clothes that were moving ever closer to the body.
