Label Text:The dazzling, descending comets on this evening coat project a sense of motion and speed. During the early twentieth century, these astral phenomena were extensively studied by scientists and artists alike. In 1915, for instance, Albert Einstein‘s general theory of relativity proposed that massive objects cause distortions in space and time that are experienced as gravity.
