Label Text:This fez hat embodies the flashy, provocative looks embraced by the New Romantics, a music-oriented subculture that encouraged a gender-fluid, dressed-up, escapist fantasy. Renowned milliner Stephen Jones was associated with the New Romantics when he began designing in 1980. Influenced by historical and multicultural modes, Jones has worked with cutting-edge designers such as Vivienne Westwood and Rei Kawakubo.
